Handmade Fern Pattern Hooded Alpaca LuxuryCardigan

A light, warm and airy children's hooded cardigan, which is also suitable for outdoor use. The pattern of this cardigan was inspired by a fern species called Maidenhair Spleenwort. 
The hoodie is knitted top down
and completely seamless in garter
stitch. The neck
and front edges are knitted with
double knitting, and the armholes
and hem edge are finished with an
I-cord.
The surface pattern of the yoke
has fern cables.
A cosy feel to the hoidies is down to the lovely and soft "blow yarn" made from super soft baby alpaca and cosy and warm merino wool, Drops Air's construction is unique, based on the newest yarn technologies, where instead of spinning, the fibres of baby alpaca and merino wool are air blown into a tube, which makes garments made in this yarn about 30-35% lighter than those made with conventional spun yarns of the same thickness.
A lovely pallet of colours will cater for every outfit choice. Colour shown is sweet orchid a light lilac shade.
